How exactly is calling someone a ''kid'' an insult?

I got banned from the left4dead 2 forum for calling someone a ''kid'' cuz he did behave like one. I would like to know when ''kid'' became an insult?

You should ask the moderator(s) and not the community. No offense but I can't help but think that there's more to this story than just this, simply because it's the same story everytime: the person who got banned obviously doesn't agree and claims it was all for the wrong reasons.

Usually, but not always, leaving out important parts of the story.

But either way: me believing you or not doesn't change anything: it's not us but the mods you need to talk to.

Kids are perceived to be immature and less knowledgeable, so it's kinda a insult. It's also a rule not to start flame wars in the forums. So nothing personal kid.

I see what u mean. U can use kid both ways, but anyways the mod will not care about it, will just switch to reddit cuz it seems to be a nicer place in my opinion.

Moderators enforce the spirit of the rules, not the letter. Tone can be enough to get a (temporary) ban.

I see it already. Will probably switch to reddit as I've said cuz i just did a little research and found out that some mods on game forums like to abuse their powers. If u dont belive me then search up on google ''MOD POWER ABUSE - STEAM COMMUNITY BANS AND MODERATORS CREATING THEIR OWN RULES dead by daylight'' there is a guy explaining whats wrong with the game forum mods.

He is ok, i am speaking about other mods who think that there were never on earth a mod power abuse on game forums.

Edit: The steam forum is ok, i am switching cuz of game forums actually.

Lol, the OP is clearly a kid cuz he noone who is grown enough would insult anyone cuz of his opinion about a mod in a game. He did it and called me a troll, i reported him so he can have fun with his ban probably.

Then there was previous insults in the same thread. Remember, not every thing is included in the ban message as we only have one message we can mark when issuing it.

There isn't a moderator who doesn't think it can happen and we will check to see if it is. In this case, the ban was justified from the evidence I have seen, and the length is due to the previous ban/warning history on the account.

It happened on dead by dalyight forum in sep 2018, i wasnt affected and the mod had his punishment as much as i heard. A good suggestion would be to add a feature which lets the mods to add more 'marked comments cuz i thought its cuz of just this one comment which the mod marked.
