If you're talking about DS4Windows, you should clarify this. Not sure if headphone output is supported on DS4Windows, but it's not supported via steam (yet)
My DS4 is official and I'm using it with Steam. Everything works fine except for the audio jack. I connect my headphone there (which works in my PS4) and no audio comes out.
sm0,
what you're saying is basically that I cannot use my DS4 through Steam and use a headphone at the same time. Is that correct? No way around?
Thanks
Hey man i tried connecting my DS4 to my pc using usb cable and the headphones connected to my DS4 works just fine.... but when i connect my DS4 to my PC using Bluetooth the audio on my headset does not work anymore... and tip how to fix this?
If u connect ur PS4 Controller to ur PC using Usb cable u can use steam and headphones at the same time.... only the wireless connection that doesnt work (bluetooth)
dunno if the V1 has audio, but this article makes it look like that would not be possible under certain conditions with older revisions of the controller.
So ya, that's what it is. I just tried with my new DS4 (model CUH-ZCT2U) and I'm getting audio through it. I have it wired to my computer's USB 3 port.
