steam just refunded one of my games without me asking for a refund!!

as per title, i didnt ask for refunds and suddenly out of no where steam refunds 1 of my games!

the game refunded was bought few months ago and i played it for many hours, so it shouldnt be granted a refund anyway as per steam policy even if i requested!

so how and why on earth did steam suddenly refund it?!!!


and i know i can buy it again but when i bought it i did during a sale so i will end up paying more if i rebuy it again now and for a mistake that isnt mine!

WHY IN HELL WOULD STEAM SUDDENLY REFUND A GAME WITHOUT ME REQUESTING?!!!! have this happened with anyone before? can somebody please advise?

Go to the storepage for the game, check the news section. If you find no explanation there, go to the forum of the game and check there. Also check your tickets at help.steampowered.com to see if someone else was on your account and requested the refund.

I'd post the actual email and what it said. It's always possible steam made a mistake and if so it would be an easy fix but that would be very unusual.

it isn't weird, it just gets more funny ... seeing 2 DLCs for the game in your list.

well i had no games refund themselfs so im lucky but if it happens (HOPEFULLY NOT) i will just rebuy it

This happened me today, i bought rust instrument dlc and i was used 4,5€ coupong to get it cheaper, now my coupong is gone and i get only few € back but not the coupong or the winter sale points
