though idk about 4pack'd gifts
But you're not wanting a *refund*, you're wanting a gift *return* back to your inventory. Not the same thing.

Gifts cannot be put in your inventory unless the developer puts it there.
Some games very rarely will give you an extra copy that goes in your inventory.
refunds(get money back) on any multipack in easy:
1) the combined playtime of all copies has to be not more then 2 hours (and also 14 days as usual)
2) every copy owner, that is not yourself, has to permit the refund.
3) when 1) and 2) are positive/done, you can request a refund on the multipack purchase.
a sidenote on this:
multipacks are officially discontinued. every product that still has one is grandfathered. new products will not have multipacks.
Still exists.
Once the receiver ticks the box, the original sender can then request a refund like normal.
