How do I select a different gpu?
Steam automatically selects my integrated gpu Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 and not my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Can someone pls help me?

Either set your GPU as default in the BIOS at startup or set your laptop to high performance mode in the Energy settings. That also sets the dedicated GPU as the primary one.

Steam doesn't select anything what your games use, the games or your driver settings do that.

if you mean Steams hardware survey. not relevant, ignore it.

Make sure your monitor/display is actually connected to the nVidia videocard and not the integrated intel videochip or you won't be able to utilize it.

have you install your Nvidia driver?

it should be automatically switch to dedicated GPU

Disable onboard integrated in the device manager- display adapters.
reboot.
But if your nvidia is not registering in device manager fix that.
