There's no such thing as a 'Steam administrator'. Start from the beginning and tell us the whole story.

There is no such thing as "Steam administrator" or "Steam database". Real Valve employees will never contact you regarding any items or details. Scammed items are not returned.

Did you get tricked into trading them away or did someone else trade them away?

As said above: there is no such thing. You got scammed, and scammed items do not get returned. If you allowed anyone access to the account information - which includes posting your steam login anywhere other than Steam itself - you have compromised your own account.

So the thing went down like i won an austalium medi gun finnaly than some creep showed up and tryed to buy i0,t denined, than a week later I sold it and bought a sexy unusual yeti taunt and while i just enjoying my profit a guy added me again and asked me to add a steam admin called Likka Keranen than Kernanen invited me to private chat where he told me he'll send me a trade offer from steam database for my unusual taunt and i'll get payed with keys later, well just after that steam popped me out, email changed, password changed, when my brother got home his first thing was to get my account back (he did it in 3 hours). The first thing we saw in my trade history was more items gone than we talked about, and here i am now talking to you guys, any help?

Identifying Valve employees

There is no such thing as a "Steam admin", anyone who claims otherwise is a scammer. You will probably never run into a Valve employee in Steam, but if you do they can be identified by the following badge on their Steam profile: http://files.steamrep.com/010/img/valve_badge.png

No need to post it three times.. Delete two of them please.

Sounds like you logged in to a fake steam website or something and they traded your items, here is the info about that. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=9958-MJDG-3003

Valve employees don't call themselves steam administrators in steam, they have normal usernames like us.
Still, they fooled you anyway? I guess you didn't know about the badge before this.

A Valve employee would never do what you are saying they did. You got scammed and hacked.

Scammed/Hacked items are not returned.

I suggest you secure your computer and not listen when someone says to add a "administrator" or ever agree to hand over items.

Trade Scam FAQ

Valve employees will never ask you to trade your items to them; this includes users who claim to work for Steam Support.

Users claiming to be a Valve employee, accounts asking to verify your items, and users who send you a message which insist you need to trade your items to them for investigation or security reasons should immediately be reported for trade scams.

We can read just fine. Problem is, this is not the first time we have "read" this here. We see it all the time. And since I am sure you can read, I suggest you read the trade scam FAQ I just linked for you here. Thanks.

Can you link the profile in question?
Forcen Jan 7, 2018 @ 3:47pm
He probably sent you a link to a fake login website so that could have a fake valve profile also.
Or did you open his profile in Steam?

Anyway, he wasn't a real valve employee considering what he did. Real valve employees could take your items without trying to trick you to do anything.

Here is a real valve employee profile, has the badge where it's supposed to be: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198041710321

Follow the good Spawn's request above, please.

"What kind of trades should I avoid?"

Do not trade for anything that cannot be added into the Steam trading window. The most common examples of these types of trades include:

Trading items/gifts for money outside of the Steam Community market. You cannot add Wallet credit, PayPal, gift cards or any form of money into the trade window.

Trading items/gifts for CD Keys. You cannot add a CD Key into the trade window. CD Keys that are offered can be for a different game, fake, used or region restricted.

Trading items/gifts for nothing in return in the first trade and expecting to get an item or gift in a later trade. There is no reason to not trade everything in one trade. You may add unlimited items/gifts to a single trade. A common example of this is using a middleman to facilitate a one sided trade.

I'm guessing it was a badge for Deus Ex: The Fall? Since that game actually has badges called Moderator and Administrator. I've seen scammers use those before.
