How to create another steam account?

Hey, i want to take advantage of the steam summer sales and purchase my sister CSGO. She has wanting to play with her friends for a quite awhile and has deranked me to NOVA 1..... xD


I am aware of the steam thing where u have to purchase a new game for her to do anything with the account (add me)

Is there any way around this ? like me adding her then gifting the game etc..?

To unlock an account from being limited the 5 US$ equivalent must be on the account. Gifts do not count.
However even limited, your sister can use the forums, chat and groups. She can not add friends herself but she can be added by Ppl with unlocked accounts, you f.e..

so i will add 5 bucks to her account then ill buy a random sick for 2 bucks or so then i can gift her the game?? thanks

The $5,- need to be in the Steam Wallet, she can then buy whatever she likes. Note, for access to the Steam Community market the $5,- need to be spend on Steam, payed to Steam. That's about the only thing not unlocked by merely having the money in the wallet.

Purchase Limitations

Your account must have a successful purchase older than 30 days, but not older than a year in order to access the Community Market. The purchase of wallet funds, games, DLCs and software meet this requirement. Retail CD key activations and gift purchases do not satisfy this requirement.

So if you'ld buy Wallet funds via creditcard or online payservice it's OK. If you'ld buy a Wallet Giftcard in a local or online shop it doesn't count.

if you use this and load up $5+, then it should count as a purchase on Steam and also make the account unlimited.

be a good boy, load up $10 and purchase csgo directly on her account, that will eliminate all possibilities of restrictions and she is good to go, has some wallet money left to do stuff and can use the community market.

also, this is officially the winter sale ;)
