That actually may be since both platforms are on the same page.
Usually when a game is not a steam play game, the pages are separate...
I thought Valve got rid of the Steamplay icon because it confused people...?

there isn't a seperate mac version for codmw2 on Steam. the only game, and i mean really the only game that has a completely seperate mac version on Steam is cod blackops.
so if you you buy that amazon thing (which i do not recommend as it is not possible to buy directly of amazon, only amazon marketplace) you get codmw2 on steam, for windows and macos, the same as it is available to purchase on Steam itself.
