Steam key browser activation is now possible.
Its now possible to activate Steam keys on your web browser without launching the client.
According to some people, Steam as announced this some time ago, but a link was nowhere to be found, someone dug deep on their code and found a link

It can be found below

It was anounced a while ago and only put in to the system last week.

WE KNOW! There are many threads about this and others that were necro'd because of this.

was never "announced" by Valve ...
and to this date, this link is undocumented and nowhere linked on Steam directly (if you see it, it is from enhanced/augmented Steam addon)
