Sonic 1 not in my library?!?!

So I pre-purchased Sonic Mania and heard the news of it getting delayed. They were giving out Sonic 1 to people who pre-purchased the game. Today I checked the sonic 1 game page and it said that the game is in my library, but when i checked my library the game was missing. I tried restarting Steam and my PC but nothing changed. Does anyone know what I can do to fix it, or possibly a moderator can fix it for me? It would be much appreciated.

Sonic 1 is part of the SEGA Mega Drive & Genesis Classics.
Just install and start that to play the game.

It's under the SEGA Genesis & Master system "game".
It's emulated and all the old Genesis/MS games launch there.

if you purchased it within the last 2 days, you didn't get sonic 1. they changed that.

I did pre purchase it on the 13th but it still says the game is in my library, is that just a bug?

I never purchased it and i checked my whole library and didn't find anything.

They both aren't. The mega drive classics bundle is something i never purchased. And Sonic 1 says its in my library, but when i open the page for the library it's missing.

That is true. Check the DLC area in your library for the "Sega MegaDrive..."

So you didn't check? Try checking.

I also own sonic 1 and i never purchased the megadrive thing either but it's still in my library and sonic 1 isn't. Because you start sonic 1 from that thing.
