Can using "Idle Master" result in a punishment?

Cannot figure out how to get trading cards, trying to level up my steam profile, but I don't know how to get these. is "Idle Master" Going to trigger VAC or ban me from online or something?

Lmao nope. I used it a lot while playing VAC games

Edit: Oh also I noticed there was a slowdown if you idle many games and you would recieve cards slower. So I recommend just doing one game then another.

It doesn't affect any task
It self acts like a task of a specific game but only games in your library so it is nothing more than a playtimefarming tool for steam.
I used it for 2 years by now and no kind of punishment so far for me :D

sorry, 6 paid subscription that actually have trading cards.

free 2 play games will not drop any cards. unless there is away to spent money on the game and then it is $9 per card. f2p games also dont count towards anything on your profile.
