Also, OP, taking a screenshot of the problem will not show the pixels as they are interpreted at the sub physical level as if the monitor was perfect.
And when they do occur, they're generally more then one color. If the problem dissappears when you tighten the connection and shut off then turn back on the monitor, it's most likely like a loose connection. If it doesn't try the onboard video for the motherboard, unless you're already using that. If you have no problem on the other video source, you know it's not the monitor or the connections.
