Why Does it take 2 weeks just to recieve your money back if a game doesn't work

Yesterday night I purchased Bejeweled Twist as I didn't know the game crashes when you try to launch it. I should of got back my money a lot quicker than 14 days when you experience problems like that with a game. I know that I played a little bit on it, but, I left for a minute and then it crashed, So I tried unstalling it and reinstalling it back again but it kept crashing.

they also do not receive your money instantanously. explaining how finanacial transactions really work would fill a book, so lets keep it simple: "that the way it is".

Thanks for letting me know about that, Im new at this Steam website as I only got into it because of Streets of Fury. I didn't know that certain games I enjoyed playing was on Steam, specially games that was on PopCap games.
