Different couler steam name ?

How do people get there steam name yellow and orange and blue , purple I have seen a few people like this but is it legit ? And is it allowed ?

We Global Moderators and third party Moderators will have Orange names.

Valve green color.

Officers in Steam Groups have Yellow I believe.

I don't recall Blue and purple being part of names unless it's in a game.

Blue and Green is shown on is on Group Members Pages Friends popout list where users are shown online or in game.

He probably saw users with the now fixed yellow-steam-hack avatar, name. I've never seen purple, other than on my end messing around client side by changing the color in the HTML css.

the video is from a dumb call of duty kid and that works only in call of duty since it picks up the steam profile name and the game engine interpretes "^<number>" as a color, on Steam your name will look like crap.

The yellow/gold name exploit was fixed. You can no longer change the color of your name on Steam.
