Not like they used to. there are some sale in the store front but nothing specific towards easter.
IMO Valve have dropped season sales toward more generic big sales such as summer and winter and have sales overtime.

Valve sell games all over the world and the world do not have any idea what is easter. Valve needs to make the sales according to something more standard to all, not only for a country day sale.

dude, easter is not a country day sale, all countries in the world with a catholic background have easter festivities, wich account for nearly all of both American Continents, half of Africa, most of Europe, and Australia. Its a big deal. Also you're not chinese, but i doubt you havent heard about chinese new year, its just a country, but its big enough that you know the meaning. I'd accept a Chinese New Year Sale no problem. There have been Thanksgiving sales, and even if I not from the United States, I'll take any excuse for a Sale with a smile.

even if we take into account what I said on the last post, I believe we never had any easter sale to begin with. every once in a while Valve makes a sale that have no follow up on the next years. We can be sure there will be a summer sale around the end of june ~ beginning of july, and a winter sale around christmas. you can expect at least one more to show up around a day like halloween or black friday, but it could be anywhere during the year. Last year we had 4 Sales, so keep on the lookout.

Think globally.

Interesting fact. Atheists/Agnosticsa are the third largest religious denomination in the world. Just be hind Muslims and Just ahead of Hindu.

So generally speaking there are more people in the world that do not ascrible to easter in a religious or ceremonial context than people who do.

The lunar new year is actually celebrated by a number of religions . The date of the celbration differes but the concept of it is pretty common place. Also Steam did have a lunar new year sale last year. But people complained and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it.

Face it. It just wasn't worth Valve's time to do up a major sales event and probably for the best. Sales fatigue is a thing.

It's not even Easter ... who is to say they don't start a sale on *drumroll* Easter Monday, during Bright Week?
Unlikely. I think the summer sale in June will be the next full sale but there'll be lots of large publishers' and themed sales between now and middle of June.

There is another website with a sale on but there are only poor discounts on what were very high prices to start with.

I mean they think it's big enough to put bunnies and easter eggs into csgo ...
Easter doesn't start until midnight, which in my time zone is 7 hours from now. Are we sure there isn't going to be an Easter sale, seeing as it's not Easter yet? Can some Australians chime and inform us for sure, as it's probably Easter Sunday there now, I think? I don't know if Valve staggers the sales times in accordance to time zone either.

Wouldfn't kick in until 6 p.m. UK time but they never start major sales on a Sunday. They generally start Wednesdays or Thursdays.

Other than the big summer and winter sales, Steam does generally have smaller sales, without trading cards or events, in spring and autumn. This will be the first year since I've been on Steam that they haven't had a Spring sale.

there is supposed to be a steam easter sale, there were a lot of forum boards talking about how resident evil 7 is going to be like $37 and gta5 online cash cards are going to drop in prices alot, along with ~300 games going to 90% off, so i can see an easter sale happening

Valve doesn't have to do a sale just because make up rumours about it.

Origin, Uplay, Gog, none of them are having easter sales.

Origin are, but it's so c... rubbish I haven't bothered mentioning it. GOG are doing their standard weekend sale which includes Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 Enhanced editions at $5.00 each and Tropico 4 at $3.88 which are exceptionally good offers which is why I have mentioned them.
