Legal contact information
This is the only information I could find quickly

PO BOX 1688
Bellevue, WA 98009

Is this the correct address to send official legal documents to Valve? If this is not the correct address, I am formally requesting, in this post, to be contacted with your legal contact information. Failure to provide this information is in direct violation of United States law. You have my info, email it to me.

Pretty sure there is not, in fact, any US law saying they have to browse user forums and comments looking for people making demands.

Valve contact information can be found here: http://www.valvesoftware.com/contact/

I know, that's where I got the information from. Also, I said nothing about forums, I am utilizing their service to try and contact them, I have tried other avenues with no response. At this point it is rapidly escalating, all I need is a simple yes or no. Wouldn't be in this position if they didn't create it.

And yes, it is illegal in the USA to not provide legal contact information about your business, because you need to be reached for... wow, legal purposes.

YOU. ARE. ON. THE. FORUMS. And you are trying to demand Valve respond to you here. In the forums. And you are trying your hardest to make it sound like you're trying to threaten them if they do not respond to you here. In the forums. With the information you already have.

In spite of your claims to the contrary, no. There is no law requiring them to browse the forums day in and day out on the off-chance there is some innane post from someone who doesn't want to use the already provided contact information on their readily available contact page which they already have. As such, and because you are wrong: They will not be responding to this thread, nor will they see it. And it will not be illegal for them to fail to respond to this thread. And if you think otherwise, I seriously doubt your legal issue with them has any merit either.

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION/BINDING ARBITRATION/CLASS ACTION WAIVER

This Section 11 shall apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. If the laws of your jurisdiction prohibit the application of some or all of the provisions of this Section notwithstanding Section 10 (Applicable Law/Jurisdiction), such provisions will not apply to you. IN PARTICULAR, IF YOU LIVE IN THE EUROPEAN UNION, THIS SECTION 11 DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Most user concerns can be resolved by use of our Steam support site at https://support.steampowered.com/. If Valve is unable to resolve your concerns and a dispute remains between you and Valve, this Section explains how the parties have agreed to resolve it.

YOU AND VALVE AGREE TO RESOLVE ALL DISPUTES AND CLAIMS BETWEEN US IN INDIVIDUAL BINDING ARBITRATION. THAT INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO: (i) ANY ASPECT OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN US; (ii) THIS AGREEMENT; OR (iii) YOUR USE OF STEAM, YOUR ACCOUNT OR THE CONTENT AND SERVICES. IT APPLIES REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH CLAIMS ARE BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STATUTE, FRAUD, UNFAIR COMPETITION, MISREPRESENTATION OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

"Rapidly escalating" yeah, good luck with your lawsuit.

Pro tip: You're wasting your time and money.

I would estimate, after arbitration of course, about $10 million and a legal team of probably 4 or 5, depending on experience and credentials, and perhaps 3 or 4 years, if not more, out of one's life to take on a giant like Valve.

But of course, these estimates are subjective. :steamhappy:

You'd have a case if you submitted that in a ticket, which is guaranteed to be read by a Valve Employee. On these forums... prepare to hear a judge laugh in your face.

Anyway, if you send a certified mailing to the address you found, clearly marked for the Legal Department, I'm fairly sure it qualifies as due diligence of notifying the defending party. If it's an account related issue though, your case might get dismissed because you agreed to (binding) arbitration.

A forum is not how you serve legal papers or make nonsense claims that doing so is a volation of the imaginary US law which doesnt exist.

http://store.steampowered.com/subscriber_agreement/

You and Valve agree to make reasonable, good faith efforts to informally resolve any dispute before initiating arbitration. A party who intends to seek arbitration must first send the other a written notice that describes the nature and basis of the claim or dispute and sets forth the relief sought. If you and Valve do not reach an agreement to resolve that claim or dispute within 30 days after the notice is received, you or Valve may commence an arbitration. Written notice to Valve must be sent via postal mail to: ATTN: Arbitration Notice, Valve Corporation, P.O. Box 1688, Bellevue, WA 98004.

Your inability to read is not illegal

Note you trolling and flamebaiting and being banned the forums is not legally actionable either.

Speaking of "not providing information".....

Always amusing how these "lawyer card" threads do pretty much exactly that.

Since you obviously did not even know these were user fourms only...

Gonna be kinda funny when you miss another vital detail that could very well be the downfall of your "case", a detail that could have possibly been covered here in these very user forums, and one that could also possibly save you much time and headache.
