No naming and shamming so take the <name(s) off> and there is no rule that says people cant use your so called tag or guild names, they don't belong to you and they will not be banned, kick or anything eles. Deal with it of change your tag.

"Impersonating another user" is for people who are not just having the same name but going out of their way to misrepresent themselves as the person they are trying to impersonate.

You have an offical roster so who cares if they try to make you look bad, How do you think pro team feel when they have hundred if not thousands using their tag and making Facebook pages, youtube accounts, ect and they aren't part of their team..

Deal with it or stop gaming.

Actually the clan tag doesn't "belong to you".. it is an accumulation of letters that other users/clans can and will use (the amount of clans I have seen using FA is ridiculous)..

You don't have a trademark on that combination of letters just because you have used it awhile

Excuse me taking the clan tags out of the picture, if you look at our Roster eack of our names is TM'ed trademarked. So that fact alone he is using our name exactly says he is impersonating someone else. Also to the point if he started hacking he brings our clans name into a bad light with the gaming world. This crap is not on and it's about time Steam gots some balls I sought players like this out.

Putting a TM at the end of a username doesn't make it trademarked (if things were that simple).. you have to actually file for a trademark and hope it's accepted (which it wouldn't be in the case of a username)

This reminds me of the Xbox 360 kiddie squabbles from 2009 when people were using 'Faze' in their name when they weren't part of the Faze 'clan' LOL.

Unless your 'clan' is protected legally with a copyright filing; anyone can use it wherever they want. Even then; people would still be able to use it as a profile name and the only way you would be able to bring in a prevention would be to take them to court and that would be hilarious.

Impersonations is a report feature for users who are being impersonated on Steam and not for clan tags. All you can do is contact the developer but let's be honest here; they wont give a toss about such a complaint or take any action whatsoever.

Looks like your website is protected but not your name. Even if you protected your name, that doesn't mean it can't be used elsewhere. I could call myself Mr Pepsi, CSGOJAMES, Ariana Grande, DA Burger King etc... and nothing can be done to prevent it. You'd have to get a legally-binding infringement prevention from a court, send that to Valve which requires them to sign that will explicitly state on a promise that they will take all steps necessary to block your tag from being used.

For starters; no court will issue such a writ and that means you've been beaten at the first hurdle.
