What's a good steam points sink?

Well, game profiles are the most expensive thing in the shop afaik, 10,000 for each. But if you don't care about stuff for your profile or chat stuff (emoticons and stickers) then points are useless to you. You could spend them on giving awards to other users and they'll receive a portion of the points from the awards.

Reward comments that are helpful to you or teach you something new.

Reward well written game reviews that helped you choose to buy or not buy a game.

Reward well written guides for games that helped you when you were playing that game and needed help or information.

If it suits you- reward comments that are nice, make you smile, or that show kindness towards you or someone else.

If you are into badges and leveling up (Steam XP) buy levels of the Seasonal Badge in the Point shop and level up.
