NOTE: Sometimes LIMITED RUN GAMES company release physical copies with cases of games. You should check their website out OP.
A bit of practice with an image editor and you can have a gradient with the name of the game that will function as the insert.
Done that before, but it never really feels like the actual physical copy.
Although not official you could always create custom cases, trading cards and other knick-knacks. Maybe even pay someone to do it for you. It keeps the collecting spirit alive.
You can sometimes find smaller games studios will put up artwork on their sites you can use to make your own boxes. Limited Run are a great company that truly put out some great games in physical form and offer some nice little extras without breaking the bank.
I have a few Switch games this way.
If you just want to make your own cases, then you can always find plenty of places that sell cases. Here in Britain I used to use SVP for such things. I'd used them for helping with friend's music and distribution too.
But they also used to have decent blue DVD cases that I cvould put my PS2 promos in I got from work.
So Google what's near you that does stuff like this.
