10 years of Steam

Later this summer, I will have a 10 year old continuous Steam account.

Does anything special come with that? I notice I have a "9 Years of Service" medal. Is there a 10 year?

i agree.

it's not like lower exp for games is what makes you buy more games anyway. we buy more games because we like gaming lol.

I actually started before Steam, when CS had its own thing (CS predates Steam). Then one day Steam came out and I got it because I owned CS. Technically I'm over 10 years, except, I had to make a new account years ago.

You don't need to play at all in order to get badges. If you want you can go to the Market and just buy the damn full set of cards. I will surely do like this after eligibility.

If you read again, I was talking about GAMES HE HAS PURCHASED.

I know full damn well I don't have to play and can simply buy all the cards.

I wasn't talking about the cards.

I was expressing my amazement at a year old account with over 1,000 games.

Congrats John. I don't understand it either. More dedication and money than I care to spend for some pixlelated Steam status, quo.

I guess think hoarding..er..collecting mentality, ones man's :jarate::ampersand::poo: is another's treasure. As long as there are enough people like that :valve: will never ever go broke.

Each to their own.

Whilst I would never do soemthing like that, there are clearly those who do and enjoy it, so they should be free to spend their money as they wish, and not be ridiculed for it.
