you will never find sale numbers and Valve does not like it when devs/pubs publish them.

Someone gets banned for exploits/cheats/hacks - they just go out and start a new account and buy a new copy.
CS: GO has told around 14,548,577 copies according to Steam Spy.
VAC has never made VALVe money. The cost to maintain VAC probably costs more than any amount of cheaters purchasing a cheap copy of cs go.
