It is. I can finally remove all my crappy bundle games. :)
Note you can't remove a bundled game without removing all the other games it came along with.
And unless it's confirmed that stats are removed also, it has basically no difference from the Hidden category.

Good to know, thanks.
I believe that since you can still download games which are no longer sold in the Store you'll be able to recover them anyway. Unlikely for those games who are completely erased from Steam (only one so far, Order of War: Challenge). Though I don't want to risk my copy of Prey to test it out.
Can you confirm that stats (ownership/playtime/achievements/etc.) gets removed from profile as well?
no its not... its one of the worst ever... and good reason why its a super bad idea
As far as I understand, so far with 'deleting local content' you still kept keyboard settings, saves and anything in the registry. Will this new option now kill every trace of the game on my PC? Because this could come handy for a clean new install.
1. Fully remove the feature to permanently remove games from your account.
2. Allow a single irreversible choice to opt-out and omit this feature from your account.
If someone gains access to my account, either by using my password, "recovering" my account or physically accessing my PC; I do not want them to be able to remove games from my Steam account.
This feature is honestly so stupid.
You still have to uninstall the game and manually clean out any left behinds.. This will cause massive issues on users that get there support.steampowered accounts hacked..
to use this feature all a user as to do is sign into the Steam Support Web site THAT DOSE NOT USE steam guard or 2-way athentication and gives a hacker the ablitly to completely wipe out one account with not much effort...
btw this will do Jack #### for your "clean new install" since u wont be able to reinstall the program you just premently removed from your Steam account ....
