That's how the law works.
Consider this, you're absolutely blind and using your scenario you got in a car and because you couldn't read and didn't know that you couldn't drive and weren't allowed, you went off and driove, and inevitably caused a massive accident.
Do you think your ignorance of the law is any sort of defence?
Do you know what happened?
Nothing.
Do you know what will happen now?
Nothing.
Date limit will come and you will launch the Steam client, accept the terms by doing so and keep playing your games.
You just can't please some people.

And? This pretty much lines up with what everyone has been already telling you. Just because it's in valve's interest doesn't mean that they're in the wrong or doing something shady. It's to cut down on these ambulance chaser suits and forces these firms like Zeiger from abusing loopholes the arbitration clause.
As for the emails, literally everything said is speculation based on cropped portions of out of context emails. Actually most of this is just baseless conjecture. The main takeaways are things that we already know. Namely that Valve removed forced arbitration, meaning either party can move a case to be heard in a court of law. This is Valve just forcing these frivilous arbitration suits to actually put their money where their mouth is and provide the actual evidence.
This video isn't the smoking gun you think it is... actually quite the contrary.
There is an article on the mass arbitration issue in general, its relatively new and a big problem in the legal system that is triggering lots of changes
Did some type of event happen? And would GTA V be completely separate from whatever Valve is going through?
Judges are easily bribed. I am sure Steam can afford to bribe a judge
The reason why Steam is doing this is because they are panicking in the courts. There are a lot of players signed up for the class actions lawsuits and with this new rule they remove them from the lawsuits.
They make it too good to be true except they are setting up the players for what will happen next. its the "Make people think you care about them only to pull the rug from under them later".
It only makes sense to delete your account after you get the money from the class action lawsuit. Why would anyone delete an account worth over $5,000 ?
If that's your argument to the evidence then it's clear you have nothing, as usual. Still waiting for you to finally make good on that threat to drop Steam that you keep making time and time again.
