I also still hope for Wild Arms series to come to steam. Some of those games are my favorite sci fi western style games, especially wild arms 3 with calamity jane and other characters. Did you know they made Alter Code F after wild arms 3 to try to link the 2 games together? Calamity Jane also appears in Wild Arms Alter Code F.
The whole story is very sci fictiony. Without spoiling too much, they have stuff like nanomachines in wild arms 3.
I also liked Cell Shading in games. They did this in Wild Arms 3, which makes it look quite unique and special.

I mean, how many games have guns as the main weapons in rpgs nowadays? I mean they are arms..but still, there guns too.
Wild Arms was my friend's favorite JRPG, who unfortunately passed away a couple years back. If it ever comes to Steam, I will play it in their memory. I've never gotten to play them. Always promised them I would but never got around to it. You know how it goes.
I understand. I lost many online friends on steam. Technically i am still friends with their account though. I never felt like unfriending them.
The best games in the wild arms series to me is Wild Arms Alter Code F and Wild Arms 3. Alot of people liked Wild Arms 2, but i found it too much like a Tales game. The series had several games up to 5 i think. I do not know as i did not follow the series after the 5th game.
Wild Arms 1 was fun. 2 was weird with its permanent skills that could mess up your game if you didn't apply them correctly. 3 looked fine. 4 was fun and 5 was my best. I have the collector edition of 5th with an artbook of the full series. I'm happy.
I still need to play Alter Code F. But I disliked the PSP game (with its strategy style) Now, if they ported all of those games on steam, I wouldn't have to rely on ways to play then. These games are not available anywhere anymore. They're just dead.
Yes, they are dead and lost in Exclustivity hell basically.
