one question about steam gift cards in EU

to find retailers were i live is really hard . i live in sweden and there is only one store called media marked that has them so what im wondering why it is like this i mean everywhere i look in my region there are playstation gift cards and netflix and xbox even fortnite i se alot off but no steam anywhere is there a some kind of restriction in sweden from selling steam gift cards or something ?

It is up to the store if they wish to sell such cards. I would suggest asking them directly as they would know why.

well i did and it seems that the stores dont even know that steam gift cards exists and thats why im wondering why that is. did not steam market the gift cards well ?

Why not use a digital card instead? If you know your friend has a Steam acocunt then this should be just as much fun for them I think; better yet, they can use it right away and you don't risk buying cards from sketchy resellers where the code might already have been claimed.

That might surprise you, but a lot of stores do not sell stuff which is barely asked for.....gift cards for stuff like streaming services, online stores and console sell way more then ones for some pc store.

Reasons for that are that most people pay directly for the stuff they buy..... and the kids which get gifted gift cards usually have a console.....

true true there is no argument about that but still seems kinda weird just to leave the pc side in the dumpster
