If you actually want to lose some weight, here's a few tips.
As a guy that lost over 200 pounds on my diet so far (I still got more to lose), here's a few tips you can use to help you lose some weight.

1) Eat healthy fats like steak, eggs, real butter, avocados, etc. Healthy fats are actually good for you, helping you raise your HDL cholesterol (that's the good cholesterol) and helps you feel satiated. So if you're a breakfast guy, eat bacon and eggs for breakfast. Not cereal, since that is a lot of empty carbs.

2) Eat complex carbs, like oatmeal (not the flavored stuff), pumpkin seeds, brown rice, etc. Complex carbs will make you feel satiated, unlike simple carbs which will spike your blood sugar and make you feel hungry again in no time.

3) Exercise is nice and all, but diet always comes first. Clean up your diet. Weight loss is 80% diet, 20% exercise. You cannot exercise your way out of a bad diet.

4) Practice intermittent fasting. Helps you lose weight and save money. You can do this by following the 20/4 method, the OMAD way, or you straight up fast and don't eat anything for the day. The 20/4 means you eat all your calories in a 4 hour window and then fast for 20 hours, which includes sleep as well. OMAD means you eat one big meal and that's it for the day.

5) Just drink water. No soda or juices as that all contains unnecessary ingredients.

6) Watch your ingredients. Look out for ingredients like high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup solids, canola oil, soy bean oil, vegetable oil, cotton seed oil, sodium hexametaphosphate, etc. All those unnecessary ingredients will screw up your metabolism and make you fat and depressed. Avoid at all costs, or just severely limit.

7) Make your own food. If you want a cookie, make your own cookie. If you want pizza, make your own pizza. Buy all the individual ingredients and make your own. It's so much better and tastier, and It's also fun, too. Trust me, it's best to make your own batch of cookies than it is to just buy them at the store. Don't be lazy. Just make your own food.

And that's really it. Follow these tips, and in a few months to a few years, you'll lose weight. The human body wasn't meant to eat 3 meals a day, along with a ton of snacks throughout. That's why so many people are fat and depressed these days. Unless you're a power lifter or a bodybuilder, you're just gonna get fat eating all that food.

And how is this relevant to Steam?

You want to post weight loss tips there's an off topic section you can use.

You forgot about blood rituals to our lord and saviour Nicolas Cage and pilgrimage to a land of holy potatoes. Without those you can't lose your weight effectively.

Intermittent fasting is actually bad. It's actually better to eat multiple small meals a day to keep your metabolism going.

Especially for those with other health issues, such as diabetes. Skipping meals can cause the body to spike in glucose levels as well as run the risk of dangerous drops in those same levels.

If you live in the US, most sodas and juices are made with high fructose corn syrup. That is a cheap sugar alternative that is GMO to the max, which will kill you slowly but surely. You are actually better off eating bowls of sugar than eating tablespoons of hfcs.

Not really, no. Their health impact is not that different from eachother.

https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/high-fructose-corn-syrup-vs-sugar

BOTH should be in limited quantities.

HFCS does interact with diabetics differently. As well as it being able to allow more sugar with a smaller amount.

Not enough to make any significant difference, if any. All the articles I read put it and sugar neck to neck in most cases. There are still better sweaters out there, with far less impact on one's glucose level.

It also varies from person to person as each system is different.

Having extra weight is nice. I don't really buy food. Saves me money. I thought inflation was going down. It's not. Oh well. I'll just eat less/not at all, haha. That's my weight loss method, and it works

When you get older, your health will start to fade. All the times you took your body for granted, and stuffed anything down your throat, will be regretted. Go eat a sandwhich at the smoothie shop instead of greasy fast food. Because not being healthy when you are older really sucks.

As someone who has Diabetes, and also at the same time eats things with sugar in occasionally, if only because getting too low of a blood sugar is "REALLY BAD." I do think it's a decent list of advice. High blood sugar is countered by insulin, but too much insulin makes numbers drop like a rock.

Too low blood sugar escalates into coma and death a lot faster than high blood sugar does.

But yeah, HFCS isn't going to be a lot worse than say, eating a package of donuts. :P

Lots of carbs is the main thing to cut down on.

I don't like off-topic because it's filled with a lot of furries and other weirdos. Might as well post it here since there's a alot of Steam users out there, and some are struggling to lose weight.
Those struggling to lose weight should not follow your 'advice'.
