Is it possible to take back a steam gift?
A while ago I bought Terraria 4-pack, and gave it to a friend... I wanna take it back now because he doesn't really play Terraria anymore and I want to play with someone else.
If it's possible, please tell me how can I take back that gift. Thank you!

Obviously (and fortunately!) this isn't possible, what part of "gift" did you fail to understand?

You’re most likely out of luck.

Once you give a gift, it's not yours to take back. It now belongs to the recipient.

At least your friend still have the game if they are bored.

It sounds like the game was registered to your friend's account.

If so, the gift cannot be removed, as far as I know, unfortunately.
on the Steam Support... i found this... less the 14 days old and under 2 hours played

My friend has already redeemed my gift, can I still get a refund?
A refund may be issued for any gift that was purchased within fourteen days and has been played less than two hours by the gift recipient.

Note: To request a refund on a Steam Gift, we will need the gift recipient to first initiate the refund and approve the removal of this purchase from their account.
Have the gift recipient initiate the process by requesting a refund as outlined here
Once the refund has been verified by the gift recipient, please go to help.steampowered.com and create your refund request.

Problem there is that the OP is referring to a 4 pack. All have to be refunded, so all those friends and the OP would lose their copies... assuming their combined hours played was under 2 hours as well.

That isn't how it works in this case.
Steam operates based on an entire license at a time and the 4-pack is one single license. Rather silly, but yeah.

Yeah you lost on this case, you should've thought about this before.
To be honest, the obsoletion of this silliness of having all copies attached to the same license is one silver lining of Steam getting rid of multipacks.

Chances are very high that even if the "friend" has played only 2 minutes he isn't aware that the OP is trying to take back the supposed gift.
