How to know your friend code ?

But I've seen that other friends have letters in their code. I tought that my code is unusual...

the code is always a number, it is in fact the incremental number every account gets on registering. and that number as well as your Steam account name can not be changed.

dunno what you have seen with letters in their code, must have been something different. that is simply not possible.

I know that in CS:GO to invite someone that is not in friend list you have to use a code that is using letters and numbers combined. I am curious to know...
