Steam suddenly changed my store country without asking!

I need help, my steam store country was set on argentine for a long time now and today, without any notice it changed to Germany, no one logged into my account, no payment was made, I have not been near Germany in my life!

Yes, but apparently not near Argentina either, it's best to write to Steam Support they will be happy to help you

what can we say to steam support ? that hey we live in iran a f up place that nobody cares about it and we want you guyz to change our region to turkey or argentina again ?

and then im sure they gonna be like nope we are not gonna because you live in iran so why would we change it to those places? and then i say because we cant buy games at full price in other places because buying a game in iran is like buying 3 or 4 full priced game and they will say not our problem goodbye :/

Pretty much, yes.
It sucks but buying games is not a life important necessity.
Its a hobby. So put games you want on a wish list and buy them when they are on sale or look around for stores that sell Steam keys and have the games you want on sale.
Switching your store country to one you do not live in to buy games on the cheap is considered fraud and Steam can terminate your entire account for it.

Yes, everyone would like to have games as cheap as possible, everyone never has money to pay the price it costs. OP is supposed to pay USD price ... IF the games are not restricted in their country, which many games are in Iran.

so ... conveniently while circumventing regional restrictions they also picked the cheapest currency on Steam that is available to do that.

that is a bad look, Valve, a really bad look for your honest customers.

Oh yes, if I were to buy cheap, is there a difference? What if I create an account tomorrow and then claim I'm from Iran. And with 460 games is it still necessary to continue cheating?
Has more games than I do, but of course the poor one can't help but buy 20 games every month. And the economy is so bad, how do you manage to have a good PC.
