Don't ever use g2a.

If the site gets filtered here, like that well known one, it is not advisable to buy from them.

There are other sites. Like fanatical.com .

Note how that isnt filtered.

Probably. But it'll remain a mystery if they'll work until you actually try them.

Whatever third party seller you are buying your games from, it is at your own risk, you may get scammed, or not.

Not banned but maybe scammed :hp_kyu:.

You shouldn't bypass the filter, by the way.

Well , its the only site where multiple developers have come out and stated they would prefer you pirate their games instead of buying them on that site.
Which should tell you something.

Buying from any third party keys seller is always a risk.

The only 100% safe way to get a steam game is via steam’s client.

Buying from the sites listed on isthereanydeal.com shouldn't be an issue at all. Those get their keys directly from the developers or publishers.

I can recommend Fanatical.com, Humblebundle, Wingamestore and Greenmangaming. Never had issues with any of them.

Agreed. Those places are good, though not with out their risks.

3rd party purchases can not be refunded, so you have to make absolutely sure before purchasing. Console ports especially, as the last two such releases have shown.

For sites like GMG, double and triple check what service the key is for. I lost $30 on a single DLC there due to a key being for the Bethesda launcher and not Steam where I owned the game. Refund refused as I had already viewed the key. Totally my fault for not checking, but still a concern if you are in an a hurry.

There are pros and cons for everything. It is best to be aware of them.

HRKGames, the one that Start with a G is apparently filtered here.. and Kinguin are 3 website i use to get cheaper keys. Never get scammed but G and HRK can be complicated nowaday.. so i stick with Kinguin which is excellent.
