WTF？why stop supporting Windows 7？

I have many valid reasons for not wanting to upgrade to Win10.

For example, I have too many applications and games installed, it seems to be over 300~500, and if I were to upgrade to WIN10, there are too many programs that would need to be downloaded and installed, registered and configured again, which is quite a hassle and could take days.

And with my hardware running fine on WIN7 and games, there is no need to upgrade.

Windows 7 is too old and a security risk so as long as you keep using 7 your PC is a security risk! Might as well just leave your homes front door open all day because that is what you are doing by using win 7. I would upgrade to win 10 not 11.

Microsoft the creator of Windows 7 is stopping supporting it 15 years after it came out. Windows 10 is only about 7-8 years old so you have nearly a decade before it follows.

Steam isn't going to support an OS that the creator of is abandoning.

It isn't really due to discontinued support of an OS specifically, but due to the underline technology and software that Steam uses. If those drop support for an OS, then Steam has to follow.

Yes, as long as you're playing old PS3 games on that old PS3. Couldn't you say the same for Steam? Don't let it update, and you could keep playing games on Win7, you just don't get new stuff or online play.

This might be a dumb question but can you play ps3 games on a ps4 or ps5? And if yes, does multiplayer work across the versions?
