Can't aff Friends to my Steam Group

How can I add Friends to my Steam Group?
There is no "Add Friend" button. The Search returns no hits. If I filter only for Friends, the Group menu says there are none.
There seems no way to add a Friend to a Group.

go to your group page
upper right, blue button "Invite Friends"

Thank you. Unfortunately, my group does not have that button.

In fact, none of my groups have that button, neither on the App nor on the web site.

They got rid of the Invite button a few years ago, IIRC. Basically to stop people from spamming group invites.
If you want to invite people on your friends list, go to their profile, click the arrow-down button on the right side, and then click "Invite to my group".
