how do i change my store region?

I live in mongolia but i wanna add funds by russian rub but my store region cant update to russia help

move to russia, then you can buy in russian rubles and enjoy the regional special restrictions.

Steam uses regional store prices for each region, if you use a vpn to purchase in another region to save money or buy restricted games and they find out, Steam can disable your account permanently.

Also most games that are cheaper in Russia can't be played outside that region.

Even more so, you can't gift games to people in other countries unless you live there, which is utterly stupid IMO. Just cause the gifted game to cost the highest amount of money, who cares, you're being nice.

no, you cant and your "steam machine" is probably not legal. steam machines are by definition just small form factor PCs, they have no regional restrictions and you can log onto them with any Steam account you want.

no, you cant and your "steam machine" is probably not legal. steam machines are by definition just small form factor PCs, they have no regional restrictions and you can log onto them with any Steam account you want.

I think he is talking about one of those cash terminal machines that are often used in countries where a lot of the population does not have access to major debit/credit card services and gift cards may not be prevalent as well. Basically it's like a vending machine. You insert cash, pick the service you want to add funds to (steam, itunes, etc...), give it your account credentials and it transfers the funds to your account minus a transaction/convenience fee.

You can but taking the risk from against the term of use, I stay in south africa and using three regional currency py6/R/RMB, the only problem is you can only "legally" change it while you are in the region which it means you can activate russian currency only when you are in russian, you can keep using it in other country just beware some games are region locked, also if you change the region back to your current location you can not change it back unless you go back, I don't know if you are still care after so many years now but just want you know my experience. Don't use a VPN !
