Is there going to be a Spring Sale this year? I have only been hearing about the Summer Sale but not the Spring Sale.

All you can do is wait and use the websites that guess the date to plan everything.

The website is even wrong about the Summer sale start date. It was wrong for the last 4 major sales.

The last event was the Lunar event.

The last themed sale was the Golden Week sale.

there was never a storewide spring sale on Steam

summer sale is in a month. makes no sense for a storewide sale to happen now.

There was a Spring event last year which had a few games on sale and that were free to play for a time. We may very well get that again or something similar or even nothing at all.

This weekend are some games free to play too, like Survive Mars. But that does happen on regular basis.

Steam missed the boat on this one. Most other stores have already had, or are currently having their spring sales: GOG, Humble Bundle, Epic Store etc. I think Steam has been unsettled by the Epic Store shenanigans and not thinking straight. Why else would you miss a spring sale while a market disruptor is stealing customers under your nose?
