Nudity in profile pictures.

I have seen more than one profile with a nude or near nude picture is this not against steam rules?

It is and their nude pic/s are often taken down, but they cannot find and ban everything.

This is why there is a "Report" button on profiles. Please use it when you come across offensive avatars, or names.

Found using the little down-arrow menu in upper right on a profile. Its orange, in the list of options. "Report Violation"

Yes I do report them but sometimes the profiles that I report have the same picture like weeks later and nothing has been done.

There are thousands of reports they have to look into everyday, and they probably prioritize by how many they recieve. If a profile only gets reported a couple times, it will be low priority. Just report them, block them, and move on.

Also, press more and then press report violation and then choose the appropriate category to report those types of pictures you have been seeing.

Remember, unless it happens repeatedly, they can upload the same avatar again. I think it has to happen a few times before they get locked out from using an avatar.

But on a serious note, I have an account in my Blocked users list that uses a f*ng disgusting profile picture for YEARS and nothing has ever been done no matter what.

Well, to be honest I personally find people who troll through Steam profiles for the sole purpose of censorship is far more offensive than a set of boobs.

Dont really spend a lot of time peering at tiny icons next to user names. Might try that, works wonders.

I personally only report them if seen in the forums here, to help limit the load on the system, and also because seeing them here in the community is more offensive to me personally than visiting their profile.

After all, if you visit their profile, that is kinda your doing in the first place, right ?

So this is why I only report them if it affects the community here. Just my thoughts.
