Regional prices in my country...
Good time of the day! In this discussion, I wanted to speak out or cry... I am not satisfied about the prices for my country (Kyrgyzstan). I'll start with the fact that the prices in the store are at American regional prices, if not, you can correct me in the comments, everything is more expensive than, for example, in the same Russia or in other countries with their regional prices... for example: risedent evil village in Russia costs $ 19.9 and we have $ 59.9, although my country is much poorer than many CIS countries, but prices are at American regional prices, in order to buy the same resident evil village, I have to work here for a week to buy it, as at the same time in Russia or in other countries, for example, Argentina it would be enough for me to work for 2 days to buy it... and so with many games... what to talk about if I even have a currency in the store in $, although our country has its own currency (KGS)... I wanted to speak out about all this because the country is poor and I want to buy games at affordable prices, and I would like to put money in my wallet in (KGS) and not in $, which is constantly changing and always a different amount falls on the account and not the one that I want... in general, I will not mind discussing this discussion with someone if someone has thoughts about this...

(I apologize for the English (I translated everything through a translator ...)).

Developers, publishers set the pricing.

Overview
Partners on Steam are responsible for setting and managing pricing for their products.

Valve adds currencies every now and then. Chances are there are other currencies/markets that have more importance that will be added sooner, but one never knows.

Keep in mind that when a currency gets added, the developers/publishers have to set a price so that games are actually for sale. This does NOT happen automatically. It can mean that games will never be for purchase because no new price gets entered. Also keep in mind that actual prices might not be in line with what you hope they would be, because again the developers/publishers set the prices.

You'll just have to wait. There are people from other countries making threads yearly for 5+ year now and those currencies still haven't been added.

pricing is entirely done by the product owner. there are just recommendation by Valve and there is also a tool to not have to enter 40something prices and that populates the list with Valves recommended prices

and you already have separate pricing.

We recommend a discounted USD price in the Commonwealth of Independent States and affiliated countries where we don't have local pricing. This is presented as a "CIS - USD" in the pricing tools. These countries are: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

as you can see the recommendation from Valve is a lower price for your area. Valves recommended pricing does set the CIS - USD price to about 50% of the entered USD price. a USD 60 would be CIS-USD 28 in your example.

the most common offenders for ignoring the recommendations are the big publishers because they have their own profit maximizing procedures.
