Accidentally cancelled friend request, can't add that person ever again?

Yeah, as the title says I tried to add someone for trading and accidentally cancelled it? It's been about 4 days and it still will not let me add them..?? What kind of feature is this, you cancel a friend request and you can never add that person again?? Like, seriously wtf is this?

Check if you don't have wrongly blocked him. The chat UI is terrible and it's easy to ban an user after a friend request instead to just cancel the request.

Happened to me a couple of time. Just check the block list in the friends section on the client.

Just checked my blocked list and he's not there, so I haven't blocked him as far as I know. Gives me an error just like it did when I tried to re-send a friend request after cancelling it 4 days ago.

I'm certain this is probably by design? It's always been a thing in my experience. You probably have to wait a matter of days, etc before you can resend another invite. It's probably a measure to counter bot spam invites.

This thing is bugged. Try to login into Steam account via browser.

Well you'd think that 4-5 days would be enough already good lord. That's seriously really dumb that you have to wait more than even 4-5 days which 4-5 days is already too much.

Unfortunately, didn't work on browser. Still didn't let me.

Yep this luckily worked! I tried to add them right before trying this and it still wouldn't let me. After I blocked then unblocked and tried it let me. Thank you!!
