Posting NSFW (Complete pictures) on Steam
I have friends on my Steam account, a bit to much which I will clear as soon as possible as I don't speak or even know most of them.

But when I'm going to my activity page, I see people posting NSFW content. Pictures from games of girls that are completely naked, having youknowwhat and others. Most of these things are not even spoilered, like having a blur effect onto these pictures.

Now, I'm wondering. Is this allowed? Cause I see this more and more happening and I also see Steam profiles with artwork, screenshots and you name it with completely naked pictures of womans from games like The Witcher, Lara Croft and loads of other games with women in them.

I feel like this is 100% not allowed as we also have children on Steam.

Children don't buy porn games or at least, they are supposed to not buy porn games.
The thing is, uploading screenshots of porn games to porn games' community hubs is absolutely fine & generally accepted. Same goes for The Witcher or any other game: if it's a screenshot of what's happening in the game, it's fine.

If you modify your games to include porn while the game itself doesn't and then upload screenshots, that may be report-worthy. Unless the screenshot is marked as NSFW but I don't remember if you can do so with screenshots.

I know for a fact that artwork can be marked NSFW. And if a pice of artwork is NSFW and not marked as such, that's report-worthy.
Well, I kinda talk about 'artwork' being posted on the community (activity page) of fully nude women related to a game. I've seen The Witcher for example, completely nude with everything that comes with it NOT marked as NSFW and also not blurred out. It was a real life women roleplaying I think it's called to someone who is playing in The Witcher, but nude. Now this person, a while ago as I do not remember his name had a full Steam profile with these things.
The Witcher 3 is marked adult-only on Steam. Don't bother reporting NSFW stuff for a game marked as, NSFW.

It's an example of a game I come across sometimes on my activity page.
Then apply the same rule to another example.

Just report things that are breaking the rules, if nothing is done, it is probably ok.

Have you tried changing the settings for blurring under your account preferences? There's a couple of tick boxes to enable warnings/blurring for community content that may or may not help.
You have Sex with the Devil in your library which is marked as NSFW so it seems hypocritical to complain about NSFW on the activity feed.

As already stated report any content you feel violates the rule but understand i may not be an actual violation.

And finally parents can limit what children see on Steam if they are responsible parents.

Yes, it's a game. But as you can read, people are publishing fully nude pictures where you can see every body part including having youknowwhat publicly for everone to see it.

It is an NSFW game and yet you are complaining about NSFW content.

Are those on the activity feed of "live" models? If they are report them. Secondly you can turn off your friends activity if you are offended or simply remove those friends who are posting said content.

If they are from a game report them but again what you deem NSFW may not be NSFW.

Parents can control what their children see.
Go into your preferences, scroll down to "Community Content Preferences", tick the box next to "Blur and warn about content that may contain frequent nudity or sexual content". If anything gets through that filter, report, block, and move on.
Go to your account preferences.

Uncheck box for these two:
- Adult Only Sexual Content
- Nudity or Sexual Content

Check box for these two:
- Blur and warn about content that may contain frequent violence or gore
- Blur and warn about content that may contain frequent nudity or sexual content

Here's the thing to remember.

Some games are adult only. As such on their pages you have age gates to get there. So only if it's accepted can you see them and it's perfectly OK for thatas that's how the law works.

But do note that if anyone, say posted a naked picture as their profile picture that WOULD be against the terms.

Just be sure to remember that game-specifc stuff is OK as that is agreed by the publisher and Valve, but posting stuff globally on public facing stuff is not as they are subject to the User Agreement.

You can always report such things, but do not waste time posting "think of the children" stuff purely because you don't agree with it.

Just a heads up.
