Since TellTale games have shut down .. Steam Keys and Humble Bundle.
Hi,

I saw today that telltale games has shut down. I logged onto my humble bundle account and saw over 8+ pages of game keys and 1 entire page of TellTale Game keys. Ive just tried inputing all codes from telltale without any problems and suceeded.

I`m now on Page 2 and ive hit a brick wall. Steam wont allow me to add more keys to my account, some security thing about adding to many keys in a short amount of time from the same ISP and account.

Ive paid for these keys from a legit site, so why is their a limit on the amount i can add to my account at a time ? Security reasons ?

It's to stop brute forcing. Just wait it out, it happens to everyone that does what you did.

Do you have any idea when the stop is lifted ?

Emails should show you which was the last one to be activated. Steam sends one for each activation.

It's also in your account details. No need to open your email.

It might be 6 hours or so, and if you try to put a key in before then, it resets the timer. You should enter keys as you get them, not just hoard them. It's to stop brute force attempts/and or grey market shenanigans where you ... anyways I'll stop there.

I don't quite understand the story of how you got the keys. Could you clarify? What's the relation to Telltale closing?

he's most likely putting the keys in because he thinks they'll expire or something.

If a studio shuts down your keys are safe though, as long as you bought them through an authorized retailer (which hb is)

Not all the time...

Removal Procedure
Here are some details on the process:

2. Contact other retailers if you sell your product via Steam key - If your title is no longer sold on Steam, it should also be retired from any other stores where you sell Steam keys, including retail and your own website. It’s not OK to continue selling Steam keys if the game is no longer listed on the Steam store. You will need to get a list of unsold keys from each of your retailers and ban them using the Ban CD Key Tool
