Hey how do i get somebody to stop following me?
Yeah I had this "friend" and some months ago I unfriended him and he apparently has a problem moving on and will not unfollow me.
I don't wan't him to stalk me even if I link my steam profile by youtube and other sites.

I could just spam workshop addons until he unfollows me but there are others also following me.

A user can follow you at their discretion.

Following you doesn't do much.

If he's harassing you, feel free to report him.

Followers only see your publicly posted content. Even without following you, that info is available to them at any time.

Then don't do anything public.
Following doesn't give the follower any more information about your activities than what is visible to everyone else.

Damn it Hotsauce! A pox oxn your Ninja ways!

Its not about my activities its just about him knowing my profile no matter what i do.

Anything that is public can be seen. He could just as easily take your URL and save that for when he wants to look at your profile.

Your profile is set to public. He is part of the public. You don't want your profile seen... then set it friends only or private.

everyone can access your profile. you dont even need Steam for that. everything of Steam is a normal accessible website, which you should know after 4 years of being here.

We understand buut you clearly don't. If you don't want someone v iewing youfr profile you need to set it private or friends onkly. You don't even need to be logged in to steam to view a public profile liek yours So there's really no way of stopping that.

As for following you, well again no way. One doesn't have to be logged in to see forum posts , screen shot submission, etc.

If they';re actually harrassing you they that's another matter. You can flagg the harassing posts, comments and leave that up to moderation. If they're breaking community rules, something will be done.

Other than trhat well. if you're in public people will see you.
