"Clown" profile award?

I just got an email that my profile received a clown award. While I am glad that I will receive 200 tokens to spend on other awards, it can be seen as offensive, and it is publicly displayed as a badge on my profile. How do I hide it?

You can hide it under Profile > Edit Profile > General kenobi > Bottom of page > Hide community awards.

you can hide profile awards, but sadly it seems that the hide option keeps resetting back to not being hidden, seems steam dropped the ball on this feature.

The jester doesn't even look that bad and it at least doesn't have some annoying animation. Now the "Wild" award, that thing just looks stupid.

Mine is hidden and I only set it one time.

I got one aswell a few days ago. I agree that it's offensive. Not to the point that the anger and sadness will flow into your mind everytime you look at your profile of course, but it's just a fact that no one would give you one because they think you are "funny like a clown" but more like because they think you are "acting like a clown"

Luckily you are able to hide it.

It is really just one of those things that are only offensive, if you want it to be offensive.

People will try to make anything offensive, be it really doesn't work like that, it is those who recive it that make it offensive or not.
