Is it still possible to hide a game ban on your profile?

So yeah I have been banned inn Dead by Daylight, not for cheating but for ''chat abuse''. The devs wont tell me exactly why or anything so I made my peace with it. I read online that you could
''hide'' the ban by permanently removing the game from your account. Does this still work?

Just adding my 2 cents here, its very possible to get gamebanned in dbd over a single chat message. Ofc the message has to be pretty extreme, but it doesnt matter if irony or not. Wrong words get you banned.

I guess they classified it as ''extreme'', still no threat of rape or killing thats just awful. The part that confuses me is that I got banned and my friend didnt while he was clearly swearing way too much.

because the howling wont make a difference, you did something bad and got banned, you want to hide the badge of shame but it will be there for many years to come. And there is nothing, i mean nothing you can do about it. making the whole thread irrelevant. Just accept your error and move on.

And just because you have never gotten into this situation doesnt mean that I deserved a permanent ban without explanation from them. Why on earth would you feel so special that you "deserve" an explanation?
No i havent and never will since i behave and dont cheat in online games.
Perhaps childish but im an honest person compared to others, and if by unlikley point i go full moron mode and cheat, i wouldnt make a post about it to get pitty.
BTW your overwatch banned, meaning you behaved very badly or cheated.

there was a point where you could remove a game ban by removing the game from account via Steam support wizard.
exactly 10 minutes after a "rofllol, i can remove my bans, here is how" thread on reddit, it was fixed.

the removal of the game also just hid the game ban, it did not really remove it .. like the removal function itself does not remove the game ... it is more an advanced/extended hide. a user can not permanently remove anything from their account themselves.

anyway.
7 years after you youngest game/vac ban it is. then the red branding of evil will not be displayed for others on your profile but it will be still visible to you and it will still be visible to the api.

to OP: everything you do against it or in look for reasoning, will be looked at pathetically. the game ban function is not a court sentence, no one is accountable to you.
you messed up. accepting it is your only door to take.

he said n one of the posts here. basically he got mad at soemone and told them

he was going to get to him and that he wouldnt talk that big anymore then.

then got reported. that is what he gets for making threats. i would have banned him too

Not a crybaby, and he deserved that. But whatever not like you want to read anything I wrote. You are just here to criticize me and tell me that I deserved what I got :)
