It would indeed be nice if Steam had it's own Uplay version of a reward. Perhaps a Trading card or a rare chance to get a emote from certain achievements.
i get accused of faking my Tropico achievements all of the time. It's the only time anyone ever comments on any of them.
I don't care for the achievements in the game but sometimes I feel like I should complete one which is one I can do because I'm in the area of the game, etc and can spend some time on them. But that doesn't happen that often.
What I would want was better ideas for achievements. I believe "Paradox" has the best achievements for their games, no other developer has that kind of "love" toward them! :D
Going for 100% most of the time is tedious, useless and ruins your game experience, and games devs most of the time don't understand this basic thing during the design of their games.
I only remember the achievements that i enjoyed getting, not the most tedious and long one.
Some people consider using SAM as cheating, but then the same people use save files, console commands, in game's glitches, guides, walkhtrough... where you draw the line?
If they ever fix this, it would be a massive rework, not something you will see in a few years considering the times that Valve takes in doing his things.
