Points Shop not Registering In Game Item Purchases
I spent hundreds of dollars on in game items in the past month and received no points for the purchases for Killing Floor 2.

"The Points Shop is where you’ll find a variety of items to personalize your Steam presence. Redeem your points for Profile or Chat items."

How do I contact Steam Store Support? Thanks!

community market purchases do not count for the points shop.

i know that kf2 has an in-game item store but many also mistake the community market for an in-game item store

How do I get Steam Points?
Whenever you make a purchase on Steam, you'll be given Steam Points based on how much you spend. First, we convert this amount to USD, which then converts directly to the number of points you receive.
You will not receive any points for funding your Steam Wallet or for any Steam Community Market purchases.

checking this, i do not see the amount of money spent when i click on "How do I earn card drops?" on the game like on other games with an in-game store ... but i also do not really play the game either but there maybe mtx-setups that will not count as in-game purchases for Steam points.

instead of contacting Steam support, you are better of asking in the games own forum for other player experiences on this matter.
I think there should be a change of policy that when you add funds to your account that they immediately become points. It is not fair to have a single game singled out to prevent having points for online transactions.

A single game is not singled out. ALL community market purchases don't count. It's very clearly spelled out.

Otherwise people could farm points. Just list a cheap item for $10, and you get $10 worth of points, other person gets the money minus commission, then they use the same money to get more points minus the commission and it repeats over and over.

Ah, but adding money to your account should be a gateway. It is not for farming points. It is the entry point of the money into the steam system.

You need to spend the money for it to count and thats the right way
If it was just wallet funds added you could farm and then buy ingame items .........which is not what they wanted

The Points Shop is in place to provide rewards for game purchases, not in-game ones. There's would be a huge conflict of concept with the market if people could be awarded points for adding funds, get items with points and then not spend the real money on the market for those prospective items albeit non-tradeable.

It's working as intended by design.
I meant to show the marketing concept that is presented:

"100 points for every $1.00 you spend.
Buy any game, DLC, hardware, application, soundtrack, or in-game item, and get points."

ANY DLC, IN-GAME ITEM

Now keep reading where it says
You will not receive any points for funding your Steam Wallet or for any Steam Community Market purchases.
Again if it worked for community purchases $1 instead of generating 100 points would be generating 4-500 points for multiple people.
Oh thank you for clarifying. I now get it. I did not understand before.
