Steam will need you to pay in your country's currency. No way around it.
If you have a problem with the pricing, you have to bring it up with the studio behind the game.
refund can take from an hour to days (if you change emails etc) for approval. Then it can take 1 Day up to 2 Weeks for the Money to be on your Paypal account.
For me personally it was always fast except one time when i waited 2 weeks for the refunded Money to get back to Paypal.
Also the website lists prices in U.S but forced me to pay the E.U price aka the market up U.S currency.

You can see what I mean btw. If you click on U.S currency then try to check out it will show your purchase in euros no matter what. Its straight up false advertising and pulling a switcheroo.
Also I have waited for 2 days so far, no response. Should I just escalate it to paypal which apparently takes the control or way to contact steam away from me. So IDK.
If you "escalate" through Paypal, which is a chargeback, you get an account lock and the purchase method banned.
Doing a "refund" through Paypal is not a refund, but a chargeback and will end with the Paypal account black listed on Steam and the account locked for fraudulent transactions.
Valve also doesn't offer support for 3rd party games.
You don't have grounds for a chargeback. If you do then your Steam account will be crippled.
Sounds a lot like ebay in the 90s when they wouldn't take responsibility for scammers but whatever.
when you do a chargeback, you are costing steam a lot of money. all transaction have a fee, you dont see it, but steam does. and when a chargeback is issued, steam get fined. that fine is not small (can be up to $100+ per chargeback). this is why they block the payment method when a chargeback occurs.
That's inane.
You are shown the price you pay on checkout. Also we are talking about virtual currency.
So where exactly is the scam?
Good luck and god bless!
