This is a lie, you can only do 32 games at a time.
How is that cheating anyways? Hours mean nothing on Steam.
Who cares if people idle,. Steam doesn't care and neither should its users.
And just because you think it's pointless doesn't mean we do. Much like there are people out there that think video games are pointless, that doesn't make them right either.
Some people use idling SW to get Trading Card drops for Trading or Selling.
And some never leave reviews of any kind. They're just there to get the cards.
Which racks up a lot of hours, while the SW idles 32 games at once.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But just because you think people are idling "just for attention" does not make it so. A bit of confirmation bias there, friend. People do a lot of weird things for a lot of weird reasons. If people looking for attention bothers you, stop giving them attention, perhaps? Problem solved.
Lots of other things to worry about these days.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I idle while I play games, I could care less about who knows and I don't go around saying "ahahah, I have more hours than you" or making stupid reviews with large amounts of hours on them.
Well aren't you special.
Don't judge others because of how much they play video games... you're part of the problem just like those who claim video games cause violence.
Stop it.
