Banned In Game

steam pls unbanned my dota2, its say until 2039, plss i have a lot of itmes in there, the issue say its cause abadon the game, plsss last year my network conection are very bad, right now i change my router so i have a better conection. pls steam read this

You didn't stop playing competitive games and let down your team time and time again.

That ban is now permanent. It will not be removed.

Just a simple 32Bit buffer overflow. Not just a Valve thing.
Like adding too much water in one bucket. It spills over and creates a big mess.

Well, should still be easy to fix. Since all bans are meant to be permanent in the first place they do not need that column in their database (anymore) with an expiration date so they can drop it and beforehand they can cast every given temp-ban (like the one of OP) into a real ban...

So I will stick to: Just Valve-things here.

I do agree that the message could be done better and currently is just a hackjob using the system for temporary cooldowns for permanent bans instead.

Still, even if it was "just" 19 years, i doubt that Dota is still relevant then.

The ban is issued for toxic behaviour in general.

You cannot appeal this ban, move on, it is permanent.

You know that noone from valve or steam read anything on this forum? They just hire few dogs to keep everything clean here and thast it. Noone is reading this forum but players and few admins that have no other power but banning u here or locking threds.
