Can't find Facebook friends on Steam anymore

Has this function got removed? There is no option to connect to Facebook and to find friends in 'add friends' section anymore. Or is it just me? I checked it on mobile browser, pc app, pc browser, mobile app... but no luck. If it is removed, why?

Yes, it connects Facebook and Steam accounts but add friends section has no function to find or add Facebook friends, even though the Steam account is linked to a Facebook account. Weird. I don't need to use it but at least would like to know why it is removed if so.

any solution for this?
i linked my facebook account to steam but cannot find anywhere a place to search for facebook friends that have steam as well

the thing with this function is ... it requires the possible friends to have done this too.

it will only find friends that have connected to facebook and permitted to Steam app on facebook to get access to the account. if that is not done, they will not be found anyway.

if someone had done this, they used to appear on the add friends page with a button to send them a friend request. i have only have seen this once while specifically testing it. back than my test facebook account had 5k friends and i only found the one friend that i specifically setup for testing.

feel free to replicate that. it doesn't change that this function is rarely ever used other then once to get 50 more friend slots.

There is no button to find Facebook friends, that's the issue.

there never was one. that is not a manual task that you can invoke.

There was, I added most of my friends using it.

This directs you to the friends page where there's nothing about adding Facebook friends.

If you linked your FB account, your friends on FB who linked their accounts to Steam would've been visible. Right now I linked my friend's account and mine but it's not possible to find each other.

I have used this functionality before, saying there was never such a thing doesn't work with solving the issue.
