NEVER seen a whitelisted website selling games for 10 times cheaper than Steam unless you compare a massive sale on an old game vs the same game full price on Steam.
Even companies with their own store/client doesn't have their own games 10 times cheaper than Steam on regular price.
Listen man, you're also steam level 0 noob so you wouldn't know too. (private profile shows level 0 to everybody else)
Thats the rational thing to do.
Well...
- Ease of use: I buy, I click download and I can play, no extra fuss required.
- More reliable: I don't have to worry about keys being possibly used already.
- Better protected: When a game doesn't work or a developer has done something nasty then I don't have to worry because I can pretty much always rely on Steam's refund policies.
- Steam sales; should be obvious enough.
- Wishlist & automated discount warnings: whenever an item on my wishlist is on sale I get a warning about it, so I don't even have to bother looking for deals ;)
- Supporting a sale platform I enjoy... Last but certainly not least I also like to think that I'm supporting the Steam platform by shopping here which is IMO well deserved.
So basically... I guess I'm too lazy for anything else ;)It's been censored because there's little reason to promote a shady site.
Why should I continue buying through steam might be different reasons than you, or muppet, or whoever else here. I prefer not to give my money to shady 3rd party dealers, or to epic, and I prefer to have all my games launch from one central hub. Even if it must launch something else after I click play? I click that in steam, steam does the rest.
If you want to buy cheap games from shady sites, that's up to you. But don't come here complaining that they don't get updated, don't work right, or your purchase was revoked due to their practices elsewhere.
Cheap does not = good.
And it can mean +2 times good for the same money.
You do not need to leave the path to get there.
I've bought about ten game keys so far and they have ALL been instantly delivered and games worked normally.
I suggest reading up on the history of said site. Unlike an authorized reseller, they don't get their keys from the developer, but from unknown sources... like the back of a van or "they fell off the back of a truck" situations (where everything is cheaper, due to having never been paid for). They have even been found to sell keys purchased on the developer's site, where the buyer did a chargeback or used a stolen card to buy the keys.

As to why they are censored though, that is due to their referral program as it was causing a lot of spam and such post are also against the rules.
And finally, you can't refund a game activated on Steam through a game key, so if there are any technical issues or you didn't like the game, you are still stuck with it.
