Wooooh!
Skid ass
D'OH!@ I spelled it wrong
It's a serious slap in the face when a big company thinks you are nothing to worry about anymore.
Examples?
It's like selling toxic waste, but feeling your morally clean because you didn't make it, you just sell it.
But then again what could it add if half of the comment is filled with naughty words in a discussion about anything?
Games have their own rating. Forums are supposed to be kept to PG13 roughly. Apples and Oranges there. You want an 18+ forum, them try using Google to fine one, but this is not one of them.
Stores sell R rated movies and M rates games, yet you can get kicked out for offensive behavior (even swearing repeatedly) and employees can be fired for swearing while working.
What bothers me is the lack of common sense around the issue. If one walk into someone's house (ie: Steam forums) and agreed to the rules before doing so (SSA when making the account and with each purchase) then complain when one is shushed or kicked out for violating those rules. The exceuse "But you have movies with swearing in your video library!" doesn't change the rules or the fact one agreed to them.
In this case, it wasn't bad language that was censored, but the name of a Warez site that was being spammed in the past. If the site gets spammed again, then it will likely be censored again.

Anyways, this is going off-topic as the thread was about a specifi word and that word has now been removed from the filter, so I am locking this up.
